We left Canmore for a day at Johnston Canyon and camping over night in the foothills.

Still can't believe how blue the water is out west. This was a easy breezy hike out in the woods. It was a nice refresh from the mountains.
CAMPING IN THE FOOTHILLS
I was pleasantly surprised we managed to squeeze in a camping trip during our time in Alberta. We camped with Adam's crew out in the foothills. The view was out of this world. The night was a chilly one but worth it to wake up to the mountains.
We woke up and drove back to Calgary in the morning. 10/10 would recommend this spot to camp.
