CAMPING: LOW, QUEBEC II

We liked Low so much we decided to come back for a second/final weekend of camping with Kevin's family.

It was amazing to see how much the leaves changed colour after only a week! The hills were now painted red, yellow, and orange - FALL IS ALIVE IN QUEBEC!

We weren't able to get the same campsite as last time but we paddled out to another site we pinned from our last trip. It ended up being a great spot! No more than 15 minutes later Kevin's family arrived (their boat was much faster than ours haha). We set up camp, hiked around the island and took Terry's boat for a cruze before we settled in for a campfire dinner.

I've never seen such ORANGE leaves! It was breath-takingly-beautiful.

Terry cooked the most delicious steak on the coals of the fire! Kevin and I took note for our future camping trips!!

On our hike we even saw some S-C-A-T!

Can't stop me from finding rocks to add to the fire pit!

We spent the rest of the night enjoying the fire - toasting marshmallows and chatting the night away.

The weather this weekend was even better than the last! However, on our way back to the boat launch the water was so wavy! There were white caps and we took on a lot of water. We even had to bail some water out of the boat and take a couple breaks on shore! Regardless it was a great adventure and it was so nice to be there with the whole fam.
