Kevin and I spent a lot of quality time outdoors this summer. We enjoyed a hike out in Calabogie, where we hiked to Eagle's Nest and beyond. Also enjoyed the fireworks on a hot summer date night.
We have so much fun together. It's been the best summer just getting explore and getting to know each other more. He's quickly become my favourite person to adventure with. We climb mountains, goof around, and try new places and food together. Let the good times roll.
We stood in line at Mooshu ice cream for almost an hour. It was worth it to show Kevin how amazing their ice cream was but we almost missed the fireworks. Luckily we caught them from Parliament. Then we were ushered away by the police so we quickly parked in the market and watched the finale from Major's Hill Park. Then we took a summer night stroll to Nepean Point. To my surprise, Kevin (who's lived in Ottawa all his life) had never been to that vantage point of the city. It was my pleasure to show him the beautiful view from the point.
