to do list (after the breakup):




inspired by rupi kaur's poem in milk and honey. i wanted to share my own creative version.

  1. call a friend
  2. cry and cry and cry. don't hold back.
  3. breathe
  4. come to terms with the end. set aside reminders of him. and don't be friends. (at least not right away)
  5. be with your family
  6. change your scenery
  7. pour yourself into your own passions you forgot about when you were with him
  8. treat yourself to everything that will make you happy
  9. be kind to those around you
  10. learn to love yourself and what you love
  11. open yourself to new experiences (whether it's people, places, or things)
  12. be happy living life with uncertainty
