STONEHENGE & BATH // WEDNESDAY

Rise and grind. Today we woke up at the crack of dawn to catch our tour bus to Stonehenge and Bath.

After getting our tea from the lobby we hustled out to the bus stop to catch our 8:30am tour. We ended up not only catching the bus in the wrong direction, but taking it to a zone that our oyster cards didn't work in, and ultimately giving up and calling an uber. Luckily after a bit of a panic we made it to the bus on time.

Two hours later we got to chilly and windy Stonehenge. To be honest, it's exactly how online reviews make it out to be... underwhelming BUT still really cool! It's definitely one of those things you have to go to to at least say that you've seen it.

After Stonehenge we got back into the bus for another hour ride to Bath.

Bath was one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen, I'm truly in love with the place and would move there in a heart beat (I think haha).  I loved all the little alley ways, and the small shops to browse.

We also went to tour the Roman Baths, which were needless to say beautiful as well.

For our late lunch we went to Cote Brasserie and enjoyed a three course meal of tuna rillettes, steak frites, and chocolate mousse. Everything was divine, and the service was on point.

Two hours later we were back in London for a late bit to eat. First up we went to the Porterhouse for a quick drink. I tried Brothers Toffee Apple Cider which was scrumptious! I enjoyied trying out new drinks during my visit here. Then we hit up T.G.I Fridays for some appies. We snacked on some potato skins and nachos (which tbh weren't amazing but satisfying after the long day).

Back at the hotel we recuperated for the next day of adventures.
