Base camp was set up on Lake Berm. We set up for a weekend of adventure.
With poor weather on the forecast - we debated whether or not we'd be going canoeing or hiking the next day. Kevin and I braved the rain and did 2 portages and paddled through Lake Johnston and Lake Stratton. We enjoyed the sun while it was out and paddled back to camp before the giant storm. We arrived back to camp just in time to help save the tarp from collapse.
The sunset was a pretty one. We enjoyed Pat playing songs around the campfire and had a good nights sleep before packing up in the morning. It was a great weekend filled with lots of laughs and rain! Looking forward to our next trip with this group of friends!!
